Ministry
The short version
Faith is the through-line of my work and my life. I lead worship at Family Church Van Alstyne in North Texas alongside my wife Ashley — writing, arranging, and playing songs that try to point people toward something bigger than themselves.
What started as an occasional Sunday slot has grown into a ministry with our own catalog of original songs, a growing audience on streaming, and an invitation to lead at events across the region.
What we do
- Lead worship at Family Church Van Alstyne — weekly services, seasonal gatherings, baptisms, special events
- Write and release original songs — published under Manfishers Publishing, our BMI-affiliated publishing house
- Serve as guest worship leaders — across North Texas and occasionally further afield, for conferences, camps, youth events, and visiting congregations
- Record and release music — available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and everywhere else you listen

Our approach
We lead like we live — unhurried, honest, and rooted in the text. Modern instrumentation, classic hymn structure when it fits, and a steady focus on congregational singability. We’re not trying to impress anybody; we’re trying to help a room full of people hear something true.

Technical ministry
I also serve on the technical side — sound, lighting, streaming, and the general glue that keeps a modern worship service running. Comes with the territory of being an IT director who loves the local church.
